Social Isolation adversely impacts health and wellbeing. Consequences include depression, anxiety, and physical health problems.

Support For New Life’s interventions include: befriending services, mentoring, monthly peer support groups, as well as physical health and healthy eating workshops.

Our support groups focus on safely connecting with others. Our activities and workshops aim to increase self-awareness, and help members practice things that they love, therefore enhancing their mental health, and empowering them to treat themselves with more care and compassion.

We help members to maximise their income through welfare benefit assessment. 

We also provide workshops on money-saving techniques, such as reducing energy bills, cutting down on food wastage, referral for food stamps and energy grants.

The activities we provide such as yoga, Zumba and skills workshops help to enhance members’ quality of life.
